From here, the route leads south toward Shekou, gateway to the Pearl River Delta and the former colonies of Macao and Hong Kong.

Macao blends Portuguese colonial heritage with Chinese spirituality, while Hong Kong stands as a vertical city of glass and steel. From Mong Kok’s neon intensity to the iconic view from Victoria Peak, Hong Kong is a fusion of tradition, colonial elegance, and global modernity.

Following the Yangtze River, the journey reaches Chongqing, a dramatic mountain city and culinary capital, before continuing through the monumental landscapes of the Three Gorges.

In Xi’an, the silent ranks of the Terracotta Army guard the legacy of China’s first emperor, while the ancient city walls preserve the spirit of imperial China.

The route culminates in Beijing, where the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and the Great Wall at Mutianyu embody the nation’s historical depth and imperial ambition.

To breathe, we head south to Guilin. The dreamlike landscape of karst hills covered in vegetation, reflected in the calm waters of the Li River, has inspired poets and painters for centuries. A river cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo is a poetic pause, a calm return to the eternal beauty of nature, ending the circuit in perfect harmony.

We begin in the vibrant heart of the future, Tokyo, where the ancient Senso-ji Temple in Asakusa stands in the shadow of the Tokyo Skytree, and the serene Meiji Shrine contrasts with the omnipresent crossing of Shibuya. From here, a short journey takes us to the shoguns’ tombs in Nikko, to admire the gilded grandeur of Toshogu Shrine and the sacred Shinkyo Bridge nestled in the forest.

Our path then leads to Japan’s cultural heart, Kyoto, home to the elegant Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji), the breathtaking platform of Kiyomizu-dera, and the endless vermilion torii gates at Fushimi Inari Shrine. A stroll through the historic Gion district offers rare glimpses into timeless traditions, while the serene beauty of temples and gardens whispers the soul of Japan.

Our journey reaches emotional depth in Hiroshima, a city of hope, where the A-Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park stand as powerful testaments. From there, a short sea voyage brings us to the sacred island of Miyajima, to witness the gigantic torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine floating on the waters, in a scene of otherworldly beauty.

South Korea: A Journey Between Ancient Kingdoms and Neon Horizons

We begin in the dynamic heart of the future, Seoul, where glass towers rise above centuries-old palaces. At Gyeongbokgung Palace, royal guards still echo the rituals of the Joseon dynasty, while just a short walk away, the narrow lanes of Bukchon Hanok Village preserve traditional wooden homes frozen in time. As night falls, the city transforms—neon reflections ripple across the Han River, and the glowing silhouette of N Seoul Tower watches over a metropolis that never truly sleeps.

From Seoul, the journey flows southeast to the ancient soul of the peninsula: Gyeongju, once the capital of the Silla Kingdom. Here, time feels layered—stone pagodas and royal tombs rest quietly among rolling hills. At Bulguksa Temple, UNESCO-listed wooden halls sit in harmony with nature, while nearby grottoes and relics speak of a civilization deeply rooted in spirituality and art.

The path then bends toward the sea, reaching vibrant Busan, where mountains meet the ocean in dramatic contrast. At Haeundae Beach, waves crash beside a skyline of modern towers, while the colorful maze of Gamcheon Culture Village climbs the hills like a living painting. Fishing harbors, street markets, and coastal temples create a rhythm shaped by salt, wind, and movement.

Finally, the journey drifts to the volcanic paradise of Jeju Island, where nature takes center stage.
